Hooray

So I started writing this post describing how I had just ridden through the world's highest drivable road. As you can imagine I was pretty excited that I had gone on this whole trip with this in mind. Anyway, google can be a bitch sometimes.

Turns out Khardungla Top is not the world's highest drivable road because whoever originally measured it forgot to change the batteries in their measuring device (probably a shoe). As such the measurements are out a few hundred feet. Well jeez it's not a competition right!!! It was still great and the air was still thin enough to prohibit many physical activities. To me it's still cool because it's higher than the altitude which you skydive at. At even lower altitudes you are already driving through clouds. It's still a very majestic and divine place that would be great to have a picnic at in snow gear.

On the way down someone thought it would be wise to start working on the road.

So we stood around and discussed various topics ranging from guavas to Abbott vs Rudd. Others passed time differently.

On my descent I saw these things which stood tall and proud. They reminded me of the Three Sisters in Australia. We really boast about them for some reason. This is 10x better, The Sisterhood.

Some other things also happened which I haven't posted about because I've been slack. I may or may not have contracted a deathly stomach bug because I may or may not have eaten a salad which may have tasted great. Anyway, dwelling on the past has never helped anyone!!

Goodbye
